ArianeB, or Virtually
Date Ariane, if you prefer, has got updated and listens now to
version 5.7. The previous update (5.6) had only modified some internals
of the game and took care of some bugs, but this one, with its
70,747,121 bytes download, contains 55 new or updated images (and 102
new or updated html files since version 5.5).
The Life in the Metaverse blog, home of ArianeB and her friends, has got the following to say about it.
I’ve been tinkering around with the dating simulator again, making some improvements to the backyard activities, especially the swimming activity, which has not been changed much since version 1.0.
Warning: ArianeB is an 18+ game containing some virtual nudity. To put it in other words: if your mommy, church or governement forbids you to look at thongs and titties you are advised not to touch it and to contemplate your fate. I will not visit you in prison.
If this walkthrough looks familiar to you: the main reason is this is just an update of the previous one highlighting the changes since version 5.5.

Introduction
If you have never played ArianeB before and don't know how and where to start, I invite you to consult the first walkthrough of version 5.5: The ArianeB Chronicles (of course you need to download and unzip version 5.7 if you are planning to play the most recent version). All necessary steps are described there and the changes of version 5.7 only kick in at the après-dinner pool scenario.
The game starts as you introduce yourself to ArianeB. You need to impress her without going too far. Turning on some music will put her in a romantic mood but going to fast will end the game before it has even started. Basically this introduction is the same for (nearly) every scenario.
As these steps haven't changed since version 4.0 I will not repeat these here. The necessary steps can be found at The ArianeB Chronicles more specifically in chapters A better start and We meat again.
Although all doctors say that having a swim right after dinner isn't a wise thing to do this is exactly what we will choose for. More or less...
You just had your steak with ArianeB and a long silence falls over the table, time to get some action this old boy thinks and...
Go to the backyard.
Get in the hot tub. ArianeB jumps in the hot
tub with her clothes on.
Change clothes.
Follow her into the
bedroom.
Let her finish getting ready.
Go somewhere else.
Go
back outside in a towel. ArianeB proposes to have a skinny dip in the
pool.
Go skinny dipping.
Version 5.7 kicks in here and does it... with a (small) bug.
Jump in
naked. Let's get back in the pool... actually it is the first
time you dive in the pool.
Keep swimming naked. A new image appears, Let's swim some more, Grab her breasts and Let's get out of the pool are the old scenarios, so we will not push on those but go for...
Challenge her to a race.
Get ready to race.

win the swimming race you have to click points ABC in between 2 and 3

Go back to complete the lap.

It was a
good race. The actual phrases may change and depend on your clicking
speed.
Follow her out of the pool.
Theoretically you can go for a second swimming race (or other pool games), the game will not allow you to dive 3 times in to the pool but twice will do. Doing the race twice will stop the game though as ArianeB gets some cramps when she gets out of the pool (the second time). I told you before that swimming after lunch wasn't a good idea!
The swimming race is over and the scenario that had been implemented in version 5.5 takes over again...
Go back inside.
Take a shower.
Follow her into the bathroom.
Wait
for her to get out.
Take a shower.
Ask to stay the night. Be
careful here, the wrong move will end the game.
Strip naked and
wait.
Climb into bed.
Climb into bed.
Have sex.
Ung Ung Ung
Ung... uhuhuhuhuh... AHH AHHH AHHH...

Although the walkthroughs could make you decide that ArianeB is quite simple and straightforward this isn't really the case. The coding and parameters are extremely complex meaning that several situations will be triggered from others. The game is less linear than you think and playing by the walkthroughs takes out most of the fun. Testing version 5.7 made me discover some paths I had never found before. Here is one example of another way to get to the swimming race.
Start the game with the bistro dinner and the bar brawl. If you don't know how please seek comfort at Bistro Dinner and a Fight. On the dancefloor punch the guy in the face and leave the bar. Do not go to the amusement park but...
Continue home.
Go to the backyard.
Go swimming.
Wait for her in
the hallway. ArianeB has put on a bikini and is ready to swim...
You can have a go at the (bikini) swim race... Good luck with the rest.
But you might not be in for a bikini swim race. Then do the following. Start the game with the bistro dinner and the bar brawl. If you don't know how please seek comfort at Bistro Dinner and a Fight. On the dancefloor do NOT punch the guy in the face but protect Ariane. The immediate effect is the same, you will have to leave the bar. Do not go to the outskirts but drive ArianeB home and then...
Continue home.
Go to the backyard.
Go swimming. ArianeB is
felling too lazy to go and chance and decides to take her dress off.
Bingo!
Let her undress. This is a chance to see some more
images.
Take your clothes off.
Jump in naked.
Another chance to have a go at the (nude) swimming race...
